This was a complex project from the outset, involving boundary fire walls, a hybrid garage/living space, and a highly customized insulated garage door imported from Germany, which featured an integrated wicket door for pedestrian and vehicle access. Add to this the logistical challenges: tight site access via a shared rear laneway used by six residences, close proximity to adjoining properties, and a high level of coordination required across trades and approvals.
